"My experience With this agent is something I hope no one experience. The agency does not give All State a good rep. I moved into NC needing auto insurance. Was quoted a price. Granted it was lower than what competitors were charging. I was pleased with the payment. So, I paid what the agency’s representative quoted me. I was assured that it would be the same price for the entire six months. I paid the following month which was what I was quoted. Then when Aprils bill came around, it skyrocketed $50.00 more than what I was quoted. It took the underwriters a month for me to finally receive my cards. When I received the April’s bill. I called the agency. Representative could not give me a straight forward answer. So, called the 1-800 # and was explained that the policy was worth more that I was quoted. That’s not my fault. Scenario: how about the owner of this so called agency needed repairs done to (for example) his/her refrigerator. I got to the residence. Determined what was wrong. Didn’t have the part on hand. Stated that I’ll be back in an hour with part in hand and quoted the owner $150.00 including parts and labor. Now I’m done the job and I handed the owner a bill for $225.00. Now granted the diagnosis.of the problem with the refrigerator did not change much. All it was a faulty defrost mode switch. How do you think you would react? No person names were not used except for the insurance name. Short and Sweet Bad Business for an agent that represents a very well known insurance company!!!!!!!!!"

"I have been a client of the Newton agency for several years with no claims etc. I have 2 homes and 2 vehicles insured with them. I received a quote from another company that is substantially less money. When I called the Newton agency to discuss this I was told the lower price was a discount for a new policy. I checked with the agent from the other company, she said no, that is not how they do the quote. This was done in other states several years ago, but not in NC. I called back to Newton and Rebecca only said that I would lose my multi policy discount. She never looked for any other credits or discounts to see if there was a way to save my business. She had a very " oh well " attitude. I guess they have too many clients."

"Danny's been my business insurance agent for 6+ years with my current business and several years for the previous business i managed (the 4 years prior). His team has always been quick, attentive, knowledgeable and professional in my entire experience. If (any) one of his folks doesn't know an answer to my question they are sure to have the appropriate person or information available to me ASAP. Further, i have found when friends/customers/competitors offer to save me money on insurance, they never can get me a better rate for the coverage we carry. Really, i can't say enough about them."

"I've been with Danny Newton's office for many, many years. My experiences over time has been that EVERYONE there has given me amazing customer service. I do want to point out two people: Rebecca and Courtney. Rebecca was patient with me when I came in with sheet of paper with questions after an accident. She was willing to listen and wait while I wrote down the information I needed. I've had two interactions with Courtney when I called with questions. What was so helpful and amazing about Courtney was that instead of her giving me a number to call and hanging up, both times she called the appropriate person with me on the line. She also stayed on the phone while I talked about my concerns to make sure I had my questions answered. In the confusing world of insurance, it was good to have her there while I tried to articulate what I needed and also to have her help me to articulate my needs. Danny Newton went above an beyond to help me after my home fire!!!!!! Im so thankful that Danny sent us the information on renters insurance cause if we had not got it, wow we would have been on the streets for sure! Not kidding eather! "This office staff did not place the policy cancellation request over the phone in 2017. My bank branch I have known for over 11+years do not agree with your blind accusation of continual returned check payment. I requested cancellation and it is hard to believe your office is trying to shift blame on the customer as if you were supposed to draft the payment when I was aware that it should have been cancelled already following the phone call with Michelle. StateFarm did a good job with providing auto insurance policy dates back to 2012. So, when we moved back to the university area in Raleigh, we utilized my car for 6months and decided we no longer need of driving as there are several urban multimodal available in my neighborhood. I gave a call Danny Newton's office to discuss canceling the auto insurance. First of all, the agent Michelle at Newton's office said, "do not make 2months payments and disregard the letter of cancellation, then your auto insurance policy will naturally fall off." They begrudge a long time customer's policy cancellation and their staff would let the policy cancel at the cost of negative consequences that essentially damages customer's record with unreasonable unhelpful note that does not tell the whole truth of the situation such has what triggered the situation – inappropriate recommendation from Michelle. She did not properly execute cancellation when I asked this office's policy hold or cancellation instruction. The follow up by Danny Newton was nice but unsatisfying because they have not leave an accurate note acknowledging their irresponsibility of not providing a form or good way to properly cancel the policy but instead Michelle suggested not to make the monthly payment as the only option, and they could have done a better job on the notes on my account to help with communicating with other corporate staffs moving forward from here on out but they did not. Danny Newton's staffs need to step up their effort to be helpful for the customers that doesn't trigger damaging long term consequences. The bottom line is Newton's office begrudged the policy cancellation. They need to communicate the proper way to go about insurance related logistical requests and tell us what their trade off is for both parties so reach a win win situation. The 1 star review could have been avoided. I have not had any cancellation nor an agent pass false information and blame on me in the past. You should not treat any customer such a way when you need to train your staff to provide accurate information and execute the request at all time."

"This business is the 42nd Street Photo of insurance. I made the mistake of calling this business. They have a process in place to rip off the public. ( or at least my family ) you call and they provided you a lo ball quote. ( the bait ) I called the next day and was informed by State Farm when I attempted to purchase the policy price went up. I am abruptly blamed for waiting because at Mike Causey's State Farm the "rates changes every day, and and my new updated correct quote is $ 20.00 ( hook ) higher and she didn't know but if I didn't bind coverage right now it would probably go up again tomorrow. I was surprised by the blaintant " bait & switch ". It was like buying a home stereo system in NYC in the eighties. I told her I'm desperate for this renters policy to renew my lease. Please honor the original quote. She was a brick wall, and I was a combination of desperate & stupid enough to purchase my policy at the special rip off rate. I told her I wanted to move my auto over also, but wanted her to inform her boss that I was not satisfied with how I was treated and have him contact me. I believed the guy with the name on the door and picture online and State Farm in general would not be running a sleazy ripoff racket. He called me and said his employee informed him of my concerns. I said I believe I was a consumer victim of unethical sales tactics and felt like I was ripped off for $ 20.00 trying to purchase a service. I got an email from State Farm saying they don't know how or why my rate went up. They requested me to prove it, and provide them with a copy of the original quote and he might be able to do something for me. He dumped the problem on the customer to " prove it " aparantly State Farm only keeps copies of the high quote and the original lo ball quote does not exist in Mr. Newtons or state farms records. He stole my $ 20.00 made me submit proof to him. I do not believe him or his " crew " . I told him make it right or I will have a new hobby of sharing how he runs his shop on social media. So according to State Farm, rates do not change daily. Some times in life you need to look a thief in the eye and call him & her out. I dislike people who steal cheat and rip off others. I think of how many times " Microsoft " called my mom & dad in their 80's at assisted living to tell them that their computer had a virus, and a credit care was required to verify they own the computer and they will remove it remotely. Bla, bla,bla. How bad do these guys nail old people that make my same mistake. How many people have the hosed out of $20.00 today ? MR. Newton you prove it. I will leave my copy of your teaser quote and what you actually got out of me at Mr. Causey's Office and respectfully request his fraud unit or consumer services unit to evaluiate my experience of your rip off business model in action. Enjoy the $ 20.00 Now on to Facebook, yelp ECT."

"GREAT agency. Danny and his staff have handled my insurance needs for over 10 years now. I have 2 properties, 3 cars and personal liability through them. I have also financed several vehicles through State Farm. (which is incredibly easy to do, check with them before you go car shopping!)
